Terms of Service

Hoop More helps people organise pickup basketball. Be straight with people, show up when you say you will, and understand that the games themselves are between you and whoever you're playing with — not with us.

These terms are an agreement between you and Made Swell, LLC, which operates Hoop More. Using the app means you accept them.

You need a working phone number to sign in, and you must be at least 13 years old. Keep your account to yourself — anyone who can receive your texts can get into it.

Organisers set their own runs: where, when, who's invited, and who gets approved. We don't vet organisers, players, guests, or venues, and we don't verify that a run will happen, that a court is available, or that a gym has given permission.

Basketball is a physical activity and you take part at your own risk. You are responsible for deciding whether you're fit to play, whether a venue is safe, and whether you want to play with the people there. Any fees a court or organiser charges are between you and them.

• Use your real name — people are deciding who to let into a gym.
• Answer roll calls honestly, and drop out as early as you can if plans change. A late drop leaves a spot nobody can fill.
• Don't harass, threaten, or abuse anyone, in the app or at a run.
• Don't use conduct reports to settle scores — they exist so organisers can run a reliable gym.
• Don't scrape the service, hammer it with automated requests, or try to reach data that isn't yours.

We can suspend or remove an account that breaks these rules, or that makes the service worse for everyone else.

Comments, reactions, run details and photos you post stay yours. You give us permission to store and display them inside Hoop More so the product works — showing your photo on a roster, your comment in a run feed. That's the extent of it: we don't license your content to anyone else.

Don't post anything you don't have the right to post, and don't upload a photo of someone who hasn't agreed to it.

You can stop using Hoop More at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account — see the Privacy Policy. We may discontinue the service or any part of it; if we do, we'll give what notice we reasonably can.

Hoop More is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for injuries, disputes, missed games, property loss, or any indirect or consequential damages arising out of your use of the service or your participation in any run.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

If we change these terms we'll update the date at the top. Continuing to use Hoop More after a change means you accept it.
